Subject Scheduled maintenance on GUS Thursday night August 8,2002

On Thursday night August 8,2002, CME Clearing Development plans to perform scheduled maintenance on the GUS system starting at 9:00 PM until 3:00 AM Friday morning, August 9,2002. GUS will not be unavailable during these hours. We do not anticipate any impact on clearing firm's GUS processing due to the fact that this maintenance will be conducted during our nightly processing.
